No Molded Plugs On Our Power Cords!
We find it appalling that so many Audiophile cable manufacturers are using these cheap, low quality molded plugs on their power cords, some selling for as much as $300! These are the same low grade plugs you'll find on a five dollar extension cord.
And we don't understand why so many Audiophiles are willing to accept them.
Well, we don't accept them! Using machine molded plugs would mean huge savings for us in both material and labor, but it would also be an extreme compromise to the overall performance of our power cords. Plus, we believe the use of these molded plugs makes a statement about what a manufacturer thinks of a customers ability to hear differences, and recognize a quality product. And don't believe the story about how using low cost connectors allows more money to be spent on the cable.
We refuse to compromise our product, and to insult your intelligence. All Sonic Horizon power cords are hand crafted, and terminated with high quality AC plugs made by either Hubbell or WATTaGATE. And IEC plugs made by Schurter, Hubbell, or WATTaGATE.
You won't find those low grade molded plugs on any Sonic Horizon power cord, not even on our $59 Sunrise model!
